In my writing mini-lessons, I use a lot of the books from Scholastic Grammar Tales. The students love reading them, and they come with activities for students to practice the skills. One book from the set that I always use is "The Mystery of the Missing Socks." It teaches students the importance of using quotation marks when they write with dialogue. There might be some books from this collection that would help with your unit!
