Anna shared this with me on Thursday night, and I thought it was cute for students to learn their letters! Students watch/listen to the alphabet, but there are "intermissions" during which students exercize. It's a great way for students to let out the "ants in their pants," especially after a long period of time! I might even have students form the letters with their bodies as an added way to learn their letters, and move around.
What a great way to get kids up and moving. Unfortunately the screen time that we expose kids to during school is not the only screen time they get. They spend a lot of time with their games, online, and watching TV. This is a nice way to incorporate movement and technology.
I definitely need ways to have my students "shake the ants out of their pants!" We don't have a place for recess inside or outside, so I use my classroom! This is a great way to teach while moving! Kelly shared with me, "Just dance Kids" that she uses with her preschoolers:http://mattbgomez.com/just-dance-video-webmix/ and I found this too http://pinterest.com/mrsbussa/brain-breaks/.
